This was the first season for volleyball. I got in as a freshman along with other friends who played volleyball in 8th grade. This season we had exactly twelve athletes: four seniors, two juniors, one sophomore, and five freshmen. I previously played as a setter in middle school, but this season I played as a libero.

We had ten conference games in our division. KAIAC, Korean-American Interscholastic Activities Conference, have three divisions: blue, red, and white. We were in red division this season.

Despite our losses in the conference games, we had great tournament games. Our dream goal was to make it to at least 3rd place. Our first game was against DMHS, Daegu Middle High School, and we won 3-2. It was an important game for us, for it decided the top four places or the low four places.

Our next game was against TCIS, Taejon Christian International School, which decided if your team would be the finalist or not. We lost 3-1 unfortunately. Our last game, which determined third or fourth in tournament, was against CDS, Cheongna Dalton School. We won 3-1, securing our team in 3rd place.

It was a great season along with many losses but we had many achievements and growth over the season.
